I have 2 houses 500 feet apart. One of them is too far from the utility pole so the cable company wouldn't connect service to it so my only option was to connect dsl which is only 3mbps (compared to the 100-150mbps cable speed). It took me 1 hour to install it and i configured the dsl modem / router combo to use the wan port and just like that it worked in the same house. I had it installed indoors in both houses facing the windows both have wood siding and I was able to pickup 3 bars signal at the other house. did a speed test and I got almost the same numbers at the main house. Saves me $60/month and almost 30 times the speed. Hopefully it will be reliable.

Another reviewer provided the instructions I needed to set it up. I just wanted to use it to broadcast WiFi to my house and yard and it works great for that purpose.

This works great and really gives our whole camper a better / faster WiFi signal and connection. Better yet, I haven’t had to mount or install this outside of our rig to pick up and boost signal. Setup would be difficult if you are technically challenged and not know how network connections work. But, if you have some experience or knowledge of network configurations, you should be able to figure it out. There are video guides online to help set this up. Just be advised that some of the presenters themselves know little about networking and provide incorrect ip configuration information.

Very disappointed in the seller for not posting specific specs. After receiving I hooked it up to my UBNT 150W POE switch and the AP didn't power up because it required 24V passive rather than being POE+ af. That is the first spec that should have been posted. The switch may be 5Ghz, but it is only 10/100 Mbit. That is the second spec that should have been posted. I'll be sending this back.
