This is an excellent case. I used it with my own belt. Held a 70-200mm lens, iPhone, lithium battery, AA batteries and cards. Confident it kept my lens safe.

Good because it is WAY better than the flimsy bag I got with the Tamron 70-200mm. So, I appreciate the protection. But it is awkward with the handle not moving smoothly up and down and the almost useless snap on the top. It's hard to push the snap closed without feeling like I'm pressing too much into the lens to do it. But it is better than what I had to be sure.

Good product. I use it along with the S&F Deluxe Technical Belt. It makes lens changes much easier.

This case - lens carrier works well to carry an extra lens and support a second lens when swapping out lens on the camera. I use it primarily when carrying a canon 70-200mm f 2.8. However, it is a tight fit when the lens shade is on the lens and a lens coat lens cover is used as well.. You have to take extra time to make sure the 70-200 is loosened inside carrier before swapping lens. I have only used it mounted to a belt, so can't say how it works with the supplied strap. The belt mount is very secure when carrying and swapping lens.

I used this in the field for the first time last week. Anytime you want to change a lens in the field, it is difficult unless you have a place to put the camera or lens down or someone to help hold things while you are making the change. This case is great! While it only holds one lens, it opens with an additional pocket which can be used to hold one lens while you pull out the second lens and attach it to your camera. You can now easily change lenses yourself with the bag hanging at you side!
