Excellent product for large external hardware setups, Good instructional help on RME website

So far it has been excellent. Was looking for something to provide more inputs/outputs fot my ADAT-based system, and was also keen to get access to the RME drivers that I had heard are quite stable, as I sometimes use my system live.

RME make a good everything! Even after a nuclear bomb, all RME products would still be working.

Very useful if you have your own outboard ADC and DAC that you want to utilise and don't need the converters of the interface. Also super portable

Fantastic idea. I was more than happy with the preamps and converters I had (Steinberg UR824 and Audient ASP800), just didn’t like the drivers and zero latency mixing options - with Cubase funnily enough. Thsi was a super easy way to get into the RME driver ecosystem. Works as simple as pie. Ten points!
