De Snuza Hero MD is een compacte ademhalingsmonitor die direct op de luier wordt bevestigd en subtiele ademhalingsbewegingen detecteert. Het apparaat biedt ouders extra geruststelling dankzij de tweefasen alarmstrategie: eerst een trilling na 15 seconden zonder ademhaling, gevolgd door een luid alarm. Het ontwerp is licht en eenvoudig te gebruiken, zonder ingewikkelde instellingen. Let op: de betrouwbaarheid hangt sterk af van correcte bevestiging en het apparaat kan valse alarmen geven bij verkeerde plaatsing of veel beweging. Het is een aanvulling op, maar geen vervanging voor, medisch toezicht en is minder geschikt voor oudere, actieve baby's.

I recommend this to every new parent. With my first child, I hardly slept at all for the first six months of his life. I was so afraid, and constantly checking his breathing. Almost 5 years later when I had my second, I came across this and bought it after comparing reviews between this and similar products. I have used the same one for both of my youngest children. So it has been very durable and it’s super high-quality. It is also very accurate and reliable. In the almost 3 years that I’ve had this one, I have only had to change the battery one time. Now, occasionally you will get a false alarm. This is due two the device slipping out of place usually. However, in the time I’ve used it, we have had very few false alarms.

I waited a few months to make sure before I posted a review. We LOVE this Snuza Hero!! So glad we picked it. Being able to glance over at night and see the red light indicating it's still on working properly - with out having to actually wake up, move baby to check and make sure the device is still on correctly. I have slept better knowing it's going to vibrate and stimulate baby if shes breathing slower (like all babies some nights) and not wake her up with a loud sound.. We've had no problem with false alarms like we did other devices. I didn't think it'd stay hooked to her diaper, or would be uncomfortable but she honestly doesn't know it's on.. We got it when she was 3 months old, still using at 7 months, and I imagine will use for a long time.. Im Actually buying one for my neice that's about to have a baby. SNUZA is a game changer for new parents that need sleep!

I have nothing but good things to say about the Snuza Hero. Only a couple of times alarm sounded because loss of contact but that’s to be expected with little one moving around. I feel very secure having the snuza for nighttime when I’m not watching baby closely. Great gift for new parents!

I’ve used this product before with my first child. It makes me uncomfortable to use it simply because the box has been opened ( not by accident as it came in a bigger box) and the monitor has shifted drastically ( pulled off) from where it normally sits. I don’t know if someone returned it because it didn’t work for them or if they messed with the sensor which by the way is very sensitive ( image above) it even tells you not to mess with it too much and I don’t know if it has it hasn’t. Very disappointed that they sent me an opened and tampered box
