I bought the Pirelli Night Dragons in November 2020 to replace the original Harley Davidson American Dunlops, which had zero grip in the wet and were squared off. I live on the Isle of Wight, which has a mix of fast single carriageway roads, urban roads, and windy country lanes. The road surfaces are variable and often wet, muddy or leaf covered. As I'm not a stereotypical HD rider, I need a tyre to allow me to ride throughout the year and not just when it was dry and sunny. My mileage has been restricted due to the Covid lockdown but I have been riding more of late and feel much more confident with the Pirellis, albeit I have to remember I'm riding a behemoth of a bike which still slides over wet manhole covers etc. Overall a good purchase and I would recommend them to anyone seeking to replace their original HD tyres, and who isn't too bothered about not having the "HD" symbol on the sidewall!.

Original tire on my scout used mainly for ballads / vacations. I will replace them with Metzelers at the 40,000 km overhaul scheduled for this month. I only changed by making the wrong brand when I ordered the new tires, but that will allow me to see the difference in tight turns. My wife owns the same bike mounted in "Dunlop elite 2" and I find it much more flexible and more pleasant to drive.

I ride my Indian Springfield from cozy to pretty sporty for a heavy cruiser. I had the Pirelli Night Dragons assembled before I went on a big tour last year: once around the Baltic Sea, 7300 KM through Poland, the Baltic States, Finland, Sweden and Norway. For a cruiser, these tires are great, great handling, rolling comfort and low wear. When wet, they were absolutely better than the original tires with Dunlop Elite III. All in all, I am very happy with these tires. After all, after more than 13000 KM there is still about 3mm profile.

Tires would be ok. Price / performance / grip. Unfortunately on the 5 "rim only 174 mm wide. Sham!
