My old OPTOMA HD139X projector having given up the ghost after more than 8 years of good and loyal service, I decided to buy a new projector of the same brand given my satisfaction with the old one. 4K does not interest me, but 3D does. In addition to an attractive price, the chosen model features a laser rather than a lamp, therefore a longer lifespan (in theory...). Installation did not pose any problem, especially if one takes the trouble to check the optimal configuration on the WEB. Only one regret: 3D only works in DLP; it was therefore not possible for me to reuse my 3D glasses in VESA (absence of a suitable output on the model). Delivery was fast and the packaging correct. In short: very satisfied with this purchase!

Meets our expectations, nothing more. Big advantage: compared to a lamp model, it heats up very little. In terms of brightness, its 4000 lumens seemed very generous, but in use it’s just sufficient: "cinema" mode gives a decent result in the dark, and "bright" mode is fine without being excessive in a lit room. The power adjustment turns out to be unnecessary. Same for contrast: the advertised 300 000:1 value seemed fantastic, but in the end blacks are not completely dark. The fan is very discreet in cinema mode, a bit less so at full power. No visible rainbow effect on a static image, but noticeable on some moving images. On this point, nothing beats tri-LCD. Finally, the colors lack saturation: not yet tested whether this could be compensated for through settings. Nothing to complain about regarding optical quality and sharpness. In short, this projector remains good value for money for a Full HD, the laser is appreciable, but it doesn’t work miracles.

Its not bad, bright and sharp, quiet at full laser power. also very small, portable. picture quality is just average, its perfectly watchable but not as good as the higher end projectors from epson, benq or jvc. the bad stuff is the dynamic black setting, it just doesnt work, its completely useless. also the mounting holes on the bottom are all set on one side, might be an issue depending on the type of ceiling mount being used.

The video projector arrived in record time, in a parcel in perfect condition. LDLC offers models with unbeatable value for money. I am very happy with my choice which meets my needs, after a first try with an entry-level model that I was able to return quickly. The evolution of the return service towards more affordable return shipping costs and I'm giving a 5th star!

I own a projector for a while, thought it was time to upgrade, after looking at a few, very had a sale on this one, I seen good reviews, so I took the plunge...... Best thing I've bought in a while, really crisp, and if you're a gamer which I am, game changer, graphics as good as aTv, but on a 130inch scale, I'm hooked, you will be too, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
