The XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro is inadequate for watching movies. It's not bright enough for even moderately lit rooms, so you must turn off the lights. It has a wide color gamut in SDR but isn't bright enough to make colors pop. It has HDR10 support, but it doesn't mean much on a projector this dim. Its contrast is disappointing, and it especially struggles in near-black scenes. The projector has poor pre-calibration image accuracy, but you can significantly improve its accuracy with its basic calibration options, which we highly recommend if you care about accurate colors.

For those who want to set up and go, without breaking the bank on something with a higher brightness output, the MoGo 2 Pro could well be for you.

The 1080p Xgimi MoGo 2 Pro offers plenty of features, including auto focus and robust audio for its size, but you'll have to add an external power pack to make this 2.4-pound projector fully portable.

The XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro lacks a Netflix app and has some confusing picture menus, but it raises the bar for portable projectors with excellent imaging with good color balance, access to a wide range of programming with built-in Android TV 11, and highly advanced auto-setup options.
