De Ring Stick Up Cam is populair vanwege de flexibele plaatsing, goede batterijduur en heldere 1080p video, ook 's nachts. De camera is eenvoudig te installeren en werkt goed samen met Alexa en Google Assistant. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van lokale opslag, waardoor je een abonnement nodig hebt voor videoterugkijken, en het ontbreken van persoonsdetectie, wat kan leiden tot veel onnodige meldingen. De kijkhoek is wat beperkt en de wifi-ondersteuning is verouderd. Overweeg deze punten als je een veelzijdige, maar niet perfecte beveiligingscamera zoekt.

Bought this prior to Christmas as an extra for my current security system (hardwired 240V) to fill a blind spot. Camera quality is great and on par with my ~ $600 units. Battery life is great, just tune your settings and don't be stupid and sit on Live View for 30 minutes at a time, it's not designed for that. In 1 month I have used 10% battery power with multiple events per day (watching front yard and front door) so packages and people are common every couple hours. Easy to setup and comes with some self tappers and anchors for brick too. 5 minute install. If you're planning on mounting to a roof you will need a separate mount which you can order from ring/Amazon for cheap. All in all, great unit for the price even though they were on special over Christmas at much better prices elsewhere. Still, happy with our purchase. Don't know why the other reviews are whinging.

This camera does not "stick up", has no mounting hardware and even googling installation instructions (which one shouldn't have to do) does not show this model or any way to install it. Sadly it also cannot be rotated effectively to cover a small balcony. I will be taking this product back to Supercheap for a refund once the Christmas/Boxing Day silliness is over.
