A fabulously rich body cream, wonderful smell & worth every penny as it last me months. I just wish Waitrose would bring back the lip balm in this range - my local shop used to sell but, but never stocks it any more!

This product has been around for a very long time and has stood up to the test of time for being a reliable product for very dry skin. The formula is based on plant oils and extracts as well as lanolin and beeswax. It can be used on the face and body. The product comes in a green tube and it's easy to dispense and control the amount you want to use. The cream is white and thick, and has a pleasant botanical scent. It is a bit heavy and waxy, so it's too much for the combination skin on my face. However, it's great for dry and rough patches like elbows or heels. It forms a protective layer and protects skin from drying out. Those with dry skin will get more use out of this if it can be used on both the face and body. For people like me, it is quite expensive and a bit wasteful to be used just on the body.

It is really thick and heavy. I bought it for my face, however it is more a foot cream, even thick for hands.

I love weleda and bought this skin food body lotion because my skin was so dry after summer and needed some tlc. This lotion has a gorgeous silky texture and it sinks straight into skin, it also smells amazing. It's filled with goodies to feed and hydrate skin and it has definitely made a difference to my skin. After just a few days my skin was softer and smoother and skin was nowhere near as dry. It's great for rough spots like heels and elbows because it's so hydrating and has really repaired my skin. I would highly recommend this product
