De Makita DCL184Z is een zeer compacte en lichte autostofzuiger (1,6 kg) die perfect is voor snelle reiniging van autointerieur. Het biedt twee functies - zuigen en blazen - met drie vermogensstanden voor flexibel gebruik. De kleine stofcapaciteit van 500 ml betekent echter frequenter legen. De zuigkracht van 5,4 kPa is matig en lager dan grotere modellen. Batterij en lader worden apart verkocht. Met een 6,0 Ah batterij bedraagt de runtime ongeveer 40 minuten. Het is ideaal als aanvullende tool voor snelle onderhoudstaken.

Makita is a company I have turned to time and time again their products are normally very good and do exactly what they say on the tin. Unfortunately on this occasion that could be further from the truth this vacuum cleaner if you could call it that could not suck the skin off a rice pudding it has to be the worst Makita product I’ve ever owned and I wish I’d kept my previous Makita vacuum cleaner as that had three times the suction. It makes all the right noises but just does not do what it is intended for. I am very disappointed!!

Suction power not as good as I had hoped, although it does an ok job. The grey nozzle attachment is hard to push on and for me it falls off during use. Other attachments are good. The unit as a whole is easy to use and lightweight.

Durable and works pretty well some grasses stick in the floor mat and need a bit of ‘encouragement’ to extract but overall does a good job
