Hoya PRO ND 4 77 mm

Bought a few of the Hoya ProNDs and must say I am very satisfied with their performance. However and unfortunately this ND64 became bad after awhile, it has developed weird misty dots on the coating which turn it unusable and degrade image significantly. Seems impossible to remove/clean and since I already had the filter for over a year the warranty was no longer valid. Tried to contact Hoya and explain the situation with no help. As a note the filters were kept in a special filter pouch, the rest of the them did not developed this and are still in perfect condition, which only shows that something is wrong about this ND64 as it was treated the same as the rest. Found a few more cases like this around the web about Hoya ProNDs which went bad, so I am sure they have been reached about this issue before, yet they seem not to take responsibility for their products. Very disappointing!

Bought for my new little mirrorless to have in the bag for when needed to shoot moving water, etc. Works as intended...good construction as well.

This is actually my 2nd filter - the first lasted many years in the field but it was time to get a new one. No second thoughts on what to choose...Got the ProND64 again. Perfect for al my waterfall shots - even durning midday sun.

This filter is great for slowing the flow of moving water at beaches, waterfalls, streams, etc. It does exactly what it is designed to do and has Hoya's great quality.
