Sennheiser MKE 600 Professional shotgun microphone

Lang getwijfeld tussen deze en de Røde NTG4 (vooral voor de kortere lengte), maar gezien de betere reviews toch hiervoor gegaan en geen spijt! Inpluggen via XLR, fantoomvoeding aan en klinkt al meteen perfect. Wordt op de FX6 gebruikt als front-microfoon en klinkt zuiver en pakt al van ver geluid duidelijk op. Een erg warme klank. Voor Sony-camera's is natuurlijk nog een extra spacer nodig (of wat tape) omdat de micro anders te los zit in de houder, maar dat is met zowat alle shotgun microfoons. De meegeleverde hotshoe adapter en XLR-naar-3,5mm-jack-kabel is een pluspunt voor mensen met een DSLR.

Dont buy this bundle. Buy the mic separate. Boompole bundle doesn't fit the mic. U have to buy adapter separate. Heavy stick. Non sense! Not using the boom pole yet but now is broken. You cant put it back once extension comes off. This is a crap boom pole bundled.

Everything came as advertised except for the internal boom pole XLR cable. Mine arrived without one despite the product stating in multiple places that one is included already inside the pole. I have been trying to contact the company "Ritz" for almost 2 weeks. They never answer the phone and I have left multiple voice messages and never heard back from them. Feel free to get this if customer service and product control is something you don't care about.

First, this review is for the "Kit" portion of the package, NOT the mic. The MKE 600 has an excellent track record; you should get it if you are looking for its sound. The accessories bundled with this are nowhere near the quality you should expect for the premium added price you are being charged. The shock mount threads are plastic and it is no better than the already included shock mount that comes with the 600 MKE. The "dead cat" is of poor quality as well. You can do much better elsewhere. I'm returning this kit.

I used the Rode Auxiliary Video Mic GO. Compared to this product, the quality is definitely different when recording audio, as it is expensive. The Sennheiser MKE 600 Shotgun Microphone can record audio with a distinct quality compared to the Rode mic even if it's far away. If you have money to spare, I recommend this product.
