Having purchase different make that did not work and had to be return, this was quick and simple to install and works perfectly.

My biggest grip is that the controller is quite long compared to other 3rd part devices on the market which will make it hard to conceal in self portrait style photos. Other than that it works and is easy to pair, and it doesn't need any extra attachment for the camera, which is obviously a big plus, particularly in wet weather for weather sealed cameras. The price though is clearly a rip off when other controllers are half the price. All in all, yes I would recommend it but I wish Sony made it shorter to be more easily hidden in the hand in photos, which is important even if you only take this style of photo occasionally.

Works well to release the shutter but the zoom function only works with Sony power zoom lenses, which is o ly a few Sony lenses, check your lenses before you buy

This remote is expensive. But it does work with my Sony ZV-E1 and Sony ZV-E10. However, if you want to control more than one camera. Well, you can’t unfortunately. This only works with one camera or paired with one at a time. Highlights * Paired and worked first time - no problem * Have tested and works with both my Sony ZV-E1 and Sony ZV-E10. * It can only control or be paired with one camera. For the price this is a shame. * Has nice additional controls which you can either zoom or control focus, depending on what toggle switch is selected on the side. * Useful to have a custom button. * Can control video recording or taking photos. * Handy light indicator to let you know you've pressed a button. If this remote could control or be paired with at least two or more cameras, a bit like how Logitech mice can be paired with 3 devices, then this remote would be fantastic. And it would justify the price somewhat. I hope Sony would launch a next iteration with pairing multiple devices.
