Ik heb de Canon ET-60 zonnekap gekocht voor mijn Canon 18-55mm lens. De zonnekap is eenvoudig te bevestigen en los te halen. Hij kan ook achterstevoren op de lens bevestigt worden voor eenvoudige opslag. De bescherming tegen lichtinval is niet super, maar wel afdoende. Het is wel een uitstekende bescherming voor de lens en kan er eigenlijk altijd op blijven zitten. De binnenkant van de zonnekap is ruw, waardoor er nauwelijks of geen reflecties zijn.

Hood fits nice and snug. Construction is solid, just as I've come to expect from Canon. Really like the protection it provides my lens.

Not the most sturdy of products, and not being a petal design, doesn't store too well upside down on the lens when in the bag, BUT is way better than not having a hood at all (I suspect that the DX series lenses are not as well internally baffled for stray light). The bayonet mount works, but does not seem built for the long haul- it's not the same quality of kit as the hood on my dad's Nikor c. 1969.

Good everyday lens hood. Does the job for everyday photography. Fits well and easy to remove and store in my case.
