Zeiss UV Filter 72mm T*

High performance high quality Filter from Zeiss Michael

I have put the filters on my Zeiss lens as protection against impact/accident....not much to review related to the product. I was, however, totally impressed with the speed with which B&H shipped the items. I am in Canada and greatly appreciate the B&H website with its feature related to showing Cdn currency....great stuff!

Zeiss is the only uv filter I have used that actually blocks uv rays and the filter construction is second to none.

I incurred a small mark on the glass of my 85mm Otus, I had no protective filter on it at the time, (as was the case with my other Otus glass and Zeiss lenses.) Although I could find no evidence that it interfered with subsequent picture quality it was an irritant nevertheless. Now all my Zeiss glass have UV filters protecting the front element. It brings a certain peace of mind and in spite of the relative cost, I am satisfied with my decision in this regard.

It's a filter; not cheap but still a filter. It arrived well-packed and appears to be performing its protective duty well.
