Canon EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM - Zwart

This is a great lens if you dont want to take quick candid pictures (family!). Its sharp and fast. BUT to deploy it, you have to hold this tiny tab down and turn the zoom ring -- not something I can do quickly. So, if my lens it not deployed, I cant take a candid photo of the kids...

I didnt expect to like this little lens. After having used the olympus, sony, panasonic, fuji pancake (the pana and fuji are almost as good but I really hate the a: lack of real MF and b: the irritating powerzoom). This came as a real surprise. The IQ is very good for what this is. Even the macro is usefull (use F8.0 at a minimum). As always be carefull shooting in the sun and be sure to use the original canon hood. AF speed and accuracy on the M50 are very good. In short another great and very inexpensive amateur zoom that is a must have for M users. Highly recommended. After adding the M5 I even like this lens better. It just handles much better on this body. The copy I got with the M5 was almost free of charge and is even better IQ wise.

Lens fits camera and works great. I thought it would be heavier but it’s light weight due to the material it’s made of.

i using this for my first lens of beginning, its really made me feel photographs no more complicate

Very decent lens. IQ is not disappointing. Not the best for indoors. Sharper wide open - > 25mm. Very light lens, plastic but well made, and very usable. Is slightly better then the 14-42 Olys.
