Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2.0 R WR - Zwart

I always try to pack in an immense amount of research before my purchases but missed the numerous points made of this lens softness wide open. I thought this would be ample for low light as a 35mm equivalent but the softness has me reaching for my prior lenses. Will probably put on the secondary market and pick up a Voigtlander.

Great quality in a very compact form factor. F2 is more than enough for most situations and the small size and weight make this a joy to use compared to the larger f1.4 options. A perfect EDC lens.

Inmiddels heb ik deze lens meerdere jaren gebruikt over de hele wereld. Deze lens heeft een goede weerbestendigheid en is daardoor altijd klaar voor gebruik; of het nou sneeuwt, regent, zelfs zandstormen heeft deze lens goed overleefd. De lens is scherp en alleen bij een volledig open diafragma (f/2) en met iets wat je fotografeert op minimale focusafstand is de lens aan de zachte kant; het beeld mist scherpte in deze specifieke condities. Daarnaast heeft de lens lichte "purple-fringing" tegen het licht in. Voor de rest is het een uitstekende lens, die zeer duurzaam en betrouwbaar is.

A good match for the smaller interchangeable-lens camera bodies from Fujifilm, this lens is itself fairly small and lightweight, The aperture ring allows the user to set the aperture manually to take advantage of the relatively fast f2 opening available. If you're a committed outdoor photographer, the weather resistance is a bonus.
