Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8G

I had a 50mm lens a few years ago but traded it in for an 85mm F1.4 which is brilliant but I found I was stuck in tight spaces. This cracking lens is superb. Sharp and fast focusing.

I bought this lens as a lightweight standard lens for a recently purchased Nikon D850. Really sharp stopped down to f4 or so, lightweight but robust. Exceptional value for the optical quality.

Erg blij met deze lens, eigenlijk mijn go-to voor portretten, al is de 50mm soms nog net wat te kort. Op Full frame zou ik dan ook altijd voor een 85mm gaan. Voor een crop sensor is hij perfect.

I havent had chance to use it much yet need to read about the best settings has not a proffesional photogragher

I like to use aperture ring. as opposed to wheel in body. Can see setting without pressing buttons etc. weog 155 g !
