A must have for Landscape Photographers

I have picked up a Nikon D810 and the Sigma 24-35mm lense for my trip out to Cannon Beach, Oregon and can honestly say, has been my best equipment to date for landscape photographers. The zoom and focus rings on this lense is super smooth and had very little focusing issues during my trip. The lense fit nicely on my full frame and is a bit heavy, by I come to rely on that for a quality lense. Fast focusing, this lense was perfect for my trip out west. I did my research online about this lense and found that the quality is right up there with Sigmas 24mm Art and 35mm Art which I was nervous about because I have used the 24mm Art lense before and was blown away by it's clarity. A small zoom, but quality you can come to depend on. I am looking forward to my next Sigma purchase - Thank you B&H! ..

Its incredible

This lens is amazing! At f/2 its surprisingly sharp and at f/2.8 its as sharp as I could care to have! I use it for rock climbing and portrait photography and its perfect. Im also using it on a sony a7rii with he sigma adapter and the autofocus isn't anything to write home about, but I manually focus everything I shoot anyways so thats no issue for me... but keep that in mind. Not sure how the focus is on a canon!

An excellent lens !

I have a Sony A7M2 and use mostly vintage lenses with it but my Minolta Rokkor X 24mm f2.8 was basically unusable in sunlight, the flaring was so obnoxious that I needed a wide angle alternative. I considered many lenses but when I found the Sigma and I looked at the price and specs and I couldn't resist ! This lens is incredibly sharp, has very little barrel distortion and CA is basically nonexistent. There is some flaring but it's not bad at all. I use the MC 11 adapter withe the Canon EF version and the focusing is really good, not as fast as with the native FE lenses but fast enough. This is a big and HEAVY lens which is not surprising since it's F2 throughout the short zoom range so not a walkabout lens but for LE and landscape it's a dream, love this lens !

dissapointed

I had high expectation for this lens as it could be three primes in one lens but I was disappointed by the huge focus issue
