Sony 16mm f 2.8 Pancake Lens voor NEX

De lens is een fijne lichte lens voor een smalle body, met een hoge bouw kwaliteit! Echt een point en shoot!

i wanted a zoom lens for goal mouth action with an APS camera and this does the trick.

This lens is worthy of a GM base. Used with a Sony A6700 the combination is very light and extremely good. Low light performance is excellent, a great lens to use for city night shots when potability is important. Focus is quick and very accurate. Pair this lens with the equally great performance of the 70-350G for a light weight travel set up.

The Sony E 16mm f/2.8 is a good, tiny lens that makes an extremely good job once you have learned how to use it for its best qualities. The quality at the centre of the image is awesome and becomes (quite fastly) softer towards the edges. The lens has some pleasant vignetting which I personally appreciate - yet you can correct it on camera. The only point you have to be aware of is that the lens has quite a noticeable amount of Chromatic Aberrations in specific lighting and framing circumstances. Overall, the quality is excellent for casual photography. I would probably not use this lens on professional assignments unless I knew it well. The build quality is flawless and I do really appreciate the extremely thin form factor.

Good Points: Takes fantastic stills, and it's so compact for taking out on hikes Improvement Points: Not great at filming, but that's not it's MO so that's fine. Would have preferred in black.
