I bought this to use as a walk around lens when I’m Out walking as I love Bugs and This focus very close so is ideal to Capture bugs insects from further away.Nice colour and weight also Nice design and provides good quality image

I bought this lens a month ago. I am very pleased with the image quality, sharpness, and color reproduction. This lens is ideal for commercial use and for clearly capturing what is happening in front of you. Macro photography is simply magnificent with a very short focusing distance. Video stabilization is top notch. I even recommend using it without stabilizers, both external and internal. The image is very stable and vivid, perfect for documentaries! The build quality and glass are a separate topic, as I consider this lens to be the benchmark for Sony quality. I love this lens.

I bought this to fill a gap in my camera bag. I’m astounded at how good it is with the 1.4 and 2x teleconverters both for macro and telephoto use. It’s small and light too. If you’re looking for flexibility and high performance in 70mm to 400 mm range in a small light package this is for you. I’m very pleased.
