70mai Rear A500s 2.7k Dashcam

The front video capture is not what I expected based on their ad. Rear camera recorded a black screen. I used a quality memory stick yet, the first time I put it in, the camera said it was damaged. I left it in and drove because I didn't have time to mess around with it. When I arrived at my destination, the camera told me the memory card needed to be formatted. So, we formatted. Later, looked at video on my desktop... put the card back in the camera and again it said the card was damaged. Ugh. I don't have time in my life. The app can't find the camera and although it has a button to add it manually, that didn't work either. I'm returning it.

Install was easy as wires were good length for average car. App was finicky at times but was suffice when it worked Images were clear enough for any emergency reference Gforce sensitivity is a little high but at least tou know it worked. Low rating is when it falls short of 1 year of use, just cycles now, tried new SD same thing Used SD in my GOpro and it was fine as I have two of identical capacity! Maybe ill will here from back from seller!

To be fair, the hardware is not so bad, but the software is terrible, far away from good. Must have done a huge improvement before reaching out to the market. I would not recommend this product, this should be considered as a demo, instead of the commercial product!

Speedy delivery, received the device within 24 hours. I bought this for my 2011 Totyota Camry Hybrid. Easy to install for the front camera, but cable is a tad short if I want to run under the carpet to the cigarette lighter in the centre console. So I need to route the cable under the steering wheel, where the OBD connector is located. Recommend to update the firmware before installation starts. The rear camera is tricky to install because I have to find an appropriate spot to hide the excessive cable length. The unit is easy to configure, relatively intuitive using the small 2" display on the unit. I don't have enough experience to commend on the video quality. I bought a second one for my wife's Honda CRV. Easy to install the front camera. The rear camera is a bit more tricky since it involves removing trim covers, fishing the wire and hidding the excessive cable length. Not an easy job for a consumer who has no experience in this area.

Installed in my car and now I have both front and rear recording. Took 2 hours to install and result is great. Front cam is very clear during the day and night. Rear video is not as clear but should be sufficient in case there is an incident.
