I bought 5 OptiPlex 3040 Micro computers for my office, 2 of them had their hard drives broken within the first year, having issues with USB bad connection. It is complete failure, I have never seen bad computers like this.

Typical Dell, 3 Year Warranty! Added SSD to mine and changed to Windows 7 Pro, no hitch. Using as Home Theater PC, very small, passes the HD Audio [DTS HD, Dobly TrueHD Atmos]. No room for expansion, low power [65 watt power supply]. This is an older model, new ones allow for NVMe SSD if you need that kind of speed or the storage capacity. Very Quiet, dim LEDs.
