De Kodak AZ528 is een brugcamera met een indrukwekkende 52x optische zoom, ideaal voor het fotograferen van verre onderwerpen zoals wildlife of sport. De camera is licht en eenvoudig te bedienen, wat hem aantrekkelijk maakt voor beginners. Dankzij de vele automatische modi en creatieve filters kun je snel aan de slag zonder veel technische kennis. De Wi-Fi functie maakt het delen van foto's eenvoudig. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van een zoeker, het vaste scherm en de beperkte beeldkwaliteit bij weinig licht. Ook ontbreekt RAW-ondersteuning, is de accuduur matig en voelt de bouwkwaliteit goedkoop aan. De autofocus is beperkt, vooral bij bewegende onderwerpen. Over het algemeen is dit een goede keuze voor wie veel zoom wil voor een lage prijs, maar er zijn duidelijke concessies op het gebied van beeldkwaliteit en functies.

I really regret buying this camera. For the cost, it’s really worth more than the camera on your iPhone. It doesn’t connect a remote - which means there’s no way to take pictures individually without the timer. The “app” it connects to is hard to figure out. I should’ve saved my money for a camera that at least works with a remote. I regret this one.

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ528 is a middling option for travel photography. It's very portable for a bridge camera, with a lightweight design and a long zoom lens that doesn't take up much space. However, its overall feature set is pretty limited. Image quality is sub-par, except in brighter lighting conditions, and there's no RAW photo capability for more latitude with editing. Its autofocus system is also quite limited, with no true continuous autofocus and unreliable tracking. Its battery life is also disappointing. On the upside, it has a very long zoom range that gives you the flexibility to capture far-away subjects.

Fijne camera, even leren mee om te gaan, maar top, mooie foto's. Een zeer goede camera voor beginners, een aanrader. Ik ben er zeer tevreden mee. Ik heb hem nog niet veel gebruikt maar je raakt er snel aan gewend.

Voor de prijs een prima instap fototoestel. Geen vervanger voor de serieuze hobby toestellen.
