De Nikon D5300 biedt uitstekende beeldkwaliteit en snelle autofocus, ideaal voor beginners en gevorderden. Het kantelbare scherm en ingebouwde Wi-Fi maken delen en fotograferen makkelijk. De camera presteert goed bij weinig licht en is licht van gewicht, wat hem geschikt maakt voor reizen. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van weerbestendigheid, een beperkte buffer bij serieopnamen, en geen ingebouwde AF-motor voor oudere lenzen. Ook mist hij 4K video en loopt de batterij sneller leeg bij gebruik van GPS. Over het algemeen is het een veelzijdige en toegankelijke DSLR met enkele beperkingen voor gevorderde gebruikers.

The Nikon D5300 has much to recommend it in a high pixel count and the versatility of a tilting LCD screen, along with alternative of an eye-level optical viewfinder plus the built-in Wi-Fi connectivity option anyone upgrading from a smartphone would expect. Apart from the addition of the latter, however, we can't shake the feeling that the D5300 is very much business as usual for Nikon. But if resting on your laurels/playing to your strengths nevertheless results in some excellent pictures with a minimal amount of input from the user, then many will interpret that as more than enough. Amazing camera. Perfect for beginners or professionals. Takes a wide variety of lenses and is perfect for shooting both pictures and video. The camera has a hot shoe mount and 3.5mm input making it perfect for amateur film makers and people just starting out. Highly reccomend

I loved this camera. Awesome picture quality from 100 iso to 6400 iso. Great autofocus, and a flip screen. This camera have a very small buffer, and you should buy a very good SD card if you want to compensate that small buffer. This is a critical point in Raw+jpeg mode. But, it's a quite cheap DSLR... I always take my camera with me. Every day. I had my D5300 in my bag during more than 1500 days. I took more than 80 000 photo with it. I don't over protect my gear. It's just a tool for me. ...

Even though this is an older model entry level DSLR, it is more than capable of providing quality pictures and video, especially for beginners who are barely started
