I have traded in my Fuji X100t for a used D7200 with 23000 clicks. Together with the 18-140mm this is my setup for taking along on my bicycle to work and so on. The 24 mpx sensor allows you to take very sharp pictures. It also works well in low light. Pictures look more digital than with a D200 or D700. That is a price to pay. Shutter is very quiet and well dampened. It is not a pro body and feels less solid than the D200 but still solid enough. I miss the dedicated ISO button even with movie ...

I started with a NIKON F and then slowly moved, over 50 years, to an F2 PHOTOMIC then an F3HP then an F4s and now this jewel. It balances well, uses all my AF-D, Ai and Ais lenses and even with the auxiliary MBD-15 grip weighs noticeably less than the F4s. Weather sealed and operates flawlessly. NIKON knocks it out of the park again.

Excellent camera as expected from Nikon however it is big and it is heavy. This camera became too much to take with me everywhere and soon I found I was missing my camera when I saw a good photo opp. Decided to sell and down size.

An upgrade from my beloved D40 and I love it. Not so different that I can’t work out how to use it but it has so much more to it and the WiFi works really well so I can add filters and upload to social media. Very happy and would recommend if you are also considering an upgrade from an older model.
