Nikon D750 Body

I recently picked up a D750 for 365 bucks.  After shooting it for two weeks and putting on a few thousand actuations, I figured I may as well give it a review. Pros: solid output, solid af and subject tracking, fast enough for daily uses, somehow don't hit the buffer, very very small, wireless, flip out screen Cons: not all that well built, not a pro camera, buffer sucks, slow frame rate, too small for me, not high resolution or great for high iso In other words, the 750 is the Swiss army ...

I recently sold my Nikon D750 + 5 Nikkor lenses (from 18mm to 500mm) because I needed the money to get into serious video-making (Panasonic gear). It was an exceedingly hard decision because the whole system was just awesome. Through the years, i have used a multitude of different cameras and lenses and this set was hard to beat. The D750 is still one of the few best cameras ever made. Do yourself a favor, win a lottery so that you don't have to sell beloved gear to afford new stuff.

It failed on me (shutter broke) even though its serial number was not included in the recalls. Luckily it failed just before the warranty expired so I was able to have the shutter replaced. Now it's showing oil spots on the sensor again. This is not a camera that I can trust to take anywhere and I certainly wouldn't buy this used. And due to how the company dealt with the issue, I don't plan on ever buying another Nikon product either.

I upgraded from a 10 year old Nikon D90 to a D750. Wow, the features on the D750 are fantastic! The image quality is much improved going from a dx sensor to fx, and doubling the megapixels. Abt shipped it out lightning fast, and I received it 2 days later in perfect shape. I would highly recommend the camera and Abt.
