De Panasonic Lumix GH7 Body is een topkeuze voor videomakers en hybride fotografen. De camera biedt snelle fase-detectie autofocus, indrukwekkende videomogelijkheden zoals interne ProRes RAW en 32-bit float audio (met XLR2-adapter). Dankzij de ingebouwde ventilator kun je onbeperkt opnemen zonder oververhitting. De beeldstabilisatie is uitstekend, wat zorgt voor stabiele opnames, zelfs bij beweging. Nadelen zijn de kleinere sensor, waardoor het dynamisch bereik en prestaties bij weinig licht achterblijven bij full-frame camera’s. Ook is de elektronische zoeker minder scherp dan sommige concurrenten en is de body wat zwaarder geworden.

I couldn’t have asked for anything better for my use case for interviews on location, with the right lens setup and settings low light situations are non existent, unless you’re trying to make cinematic productions and even then, if you have even a 200w light source it’s enough for the sensor and autofocus. Just go for a lower eg f/1.7 and you’ll be fine. As for the modular options these are manifold and it’s a versatile rig for weddings, indie shoots, online media, the versatility is great with the open gate and oversampling.

Great camera, purchased for the video side of things, and is also now being used for stills too. Can't thank Castle Cameras for there knowledge, support and help enough. It's well worth a visit to discuss options and get to see the kit before making a purchase.

The amount of formats and the ability to record in 6k prores RAW is unsane in such a budget camera. Low light is an issue, other than that it should be fine
