Sony A6000 Body - Zwart

After using the NEX6 I new I wanted a bit more resolution and was hoping for better software stability. Sadly this camera had all the software issues of the previous models. And even though I took extra care to keep dust out of it the sensor attracted too much dust. I owned this camera for a very short time and went back to Canon DSLR. Summary, Dust on sensor still a challenging issue.

This camera is fantastic! I'm a hobbyist photographer, and this camera is far better than the Sony a7ii that I bought over a year ago. There is nothing not to like about it. The fact that it has a cropped sensor is a gain, especially if you want to attach your other make lenses to it ( with an adapter, of course. Nikon, Canon ). There is no vignetting on wide angle lenses, images are sharp, detailed. This camera is small but punchy, looks weird with a long lens on it. It has a very neat in-built flash, that the full frame Sony cameras in the Alpha series don't have. Many artistic settings available along with smart automatic settings. This camera is dynamite, and I look forward to travelling with it. If I could give it an extra star, I would !

I finally decided to get rid of my old Canon eos 7d, I loved that camera but was taking it out and using it less and less due to its bulk. The A6000 was a brilliant replacement choice. The auto focus is amazing and the picture quality is great. It's lightweight, portable and is a fantastic beginners or everyday camera.

Really really disappointed in how this product turned up… when you’re paying over £400 for a camera you assume that it will turn up in a box that isn’t ripped and scruffy. I know it’s a good camera as my partner has the same one but we have all chipped in to buy this for my sister and I feel embarrassed to give it to her because the box makes it look second hand.

Having only just getting into photography this camera is the perfect starter. Between budget and expense I didn’t really want to pay more than what I did for this as I’m still learning. It has all the features I could ask for and many more I’m still figuring out. Taking photos with this is just a joy and I can’t wait wait to expand my collection of different lenses too!
