Sony A9 Body

I bought my A9 a couple of weeks ago and used it in earnest for a weekends Husky Racing shooting loads of action, its that good I'm going to get another one very soon.

These days the A9 is an amazing value. These days I use the A9 for wildlife photography (including dog), especially action photography. It’s an amazing camera. I think the autofocus works best, for me, using lock on focus with animal eye autofocus engaged. I used to use wide, but I think the lock on works great as long as eye auto is on. This camera would be 4.5 stars if it wasn't an operational pain.  Custom settings 1,2,3 don't update so switching between custom1,2,3 you lose whatever setting you need for this shoot.  Miss your Af of a bird and you are instantly at infinity and impossible to reaquire before the bird is gone.  Plus bunch more...that are never issues with Canon.

This was to be my first DSLR camera, jumping from a bridge camera. Call it a leap of faith, I am definitely not disappointed, even from my novice's perspective it is a fantastic wildlife camera and meets all of my needs. I am really enjoying learning all about it and thoroughly recommend it.
