De Sangean DT800BL is een compacte radio met uitstekende FM-ontvangst en veel handige functies zoals RDS, alarm, en een gevoelige weerwaarschuwing. De interne NiMH-accu kan direct in het toestel worden opgeladen. Het apparaat is stevig gebouwd en makkelijk mee te nemen dankzij de riemclip. Wel is de AM-ontvangst minder stil door een hoger ruisniveau en heb je voor goede FM-ontvangst via de speaker altijd een externe antenne of oordopjes nodig. De weeralarmfunctie is handig, maar verbruikt relatief veel batterij als deze actief is. Voor wie vooral FM en weer wil luisteren, is dit een uitstekende keuze.

Still learning the features, some easy to use others not. Good reception with antenna plugged in, in FM. Sound quality fair from small internal speaker as expected.

I love this little device! Many pocket radios have a hard time picking up FM channels unless you plug a wired antenna in the earphone jack. But this one picks up stations very nicely - most without the need of the wired antenna. This was important because I wanted to plug a wireless Bluetooth transmitter in the earphone jack so I can pair it to my wireless earbuds and listen to the radio with my wireless earbuds. It can handle 20 FM presets and 20 AM presets along with a Weather Band. It can be used with either 2 AA alkaline batteries or 2 AA rechargeable batteries.

Buena calidad de materiales ,diseño y construcción Pantalla retroiluminada Función autoapagado Función aviso clima que no entiendo porque en España no lo copian de EEUU para avisar de fenómenos adversos (viento...lluvia..nieve...etc…) Tiene RDS con lo cual la hora se actualiza automáticamente y permite saber que emisora escuchas No más pérdidas de emisoras sintonizadas gracias a que pueden cargarse las pilas con cargador micro USB 550 mAh sin necesidad de retirarlas Buena calidad sonido altavoz Recepción AM lo esperable en este tipo de radios La recepción de FM al disponer de antena interna es algo deficiente... Se hecha en falta una funda y banda SW pero no puede ser todo...

Happy with purchase. Nice reception. Easy to to learn how to use features. A better value than the other big name pocket radio. I have both. This radio comes with an wall adapter and the radio can recharge batteries. The other one doesn’t include either. FM has a sub frequency that sets the clock...haven’t seen that work as I’m not a big FM listener. My only complaint is that when you move over to weather the volume is considerably lower than AM or FM. Not sure why and not a big deal. I wasn’t expecting it. I got a small Lowepro camera case to protect it. Overall A+ and I’d buy again.
