This does not hurt at all like my other epilator from the same brand. That said it also does not work well. I have gone over the same part of my leg multiple times and it is still missing hair. Worse yet, it is not plucking hair but instead breaks the hair. Guess that explains why it doesn't hurt as much. I do like that it's super lightweight and the cord is a great length. As an epilator it fails. Added a photo to show the hair it took off. Sadly it's only broken off hair not plucked.

I received the Phillips Satinelle Essential Corded compact epilator for legs and sensitive areas through the TryIt Sampling Community and so far so good. I have used it only a couple of times and have found that is a great design that removes hair with very little pain. I was reluctant to use it at first as I have tried other epilators and the pain was quite intense. This one is different though, at least for me. I am very pleased with this hair removal solution. Regrowth is much longer so it eats shaving every day for sure. Would recommend trying if you are done with the shaving routine and want an affordable alternative to waxing. Trust me ladies, have tried it all.

I honestly was excited to try this product. I remember using one of these as a teenager and it wasn’t a great experience, and to be honest not much has changed. I let my leg hairs grow a bit, so I knew they should be long enough, but that didn’t help. the only way to describe this is as either a fast tweeze or a very slow wax. It’s hurts, although since you have to go over the area several times, it will eventually go numb and you won’t feel it. it’s extremely loud too! when I turned it on, I was very unsure whether I wanted to use it. it sounded like it was going to rip the skin off my leg! I looked up a tutorial to make sure I was doing it right, and I was. This was gifted and I’m glad I didn’t pay for this, as I would be severely disappointed.

It was terrible. Made too much noise and hurt like heck. I could only do one small inch by inch section of my leg. Not worth the trouble. Just shave-

I had heard of epilators most of my adult life but had nee used one. When I received the Philips brand epilator I was skeptical. I had heard that the pain from using them was super painful. After following the directions i used it on my legs. I was pleasantly surprised at the results. My legs were hair free that lasted for weeks. No more shaving in the shower for me. I LOVE this product.
