Movie: Wanting to fulfill his late wife's wish, Carl Fredricksen decides to tie thousands of helium filled balloons to his house, where he travels to Paradise Falls, a place his wife always wanted to go. This is an excellent movie that could having laughing one moment, and crying another. Filled with amazing characters, including my favorite Pixar character Dug the dog. Video: This looks amazing. Detail and colors are first rate. 3D: Excellent 3D! Depth and dimensionality are also first rate, and there were a couple fitting pop-outs as well. Extras: An excellent amount can be found on the 2 2D blu-rays. Overall: A must own!

Inspired by his childhood hero, adventurer Charles F. Muntz (Plummer), and the wishes of his late wife Ellie, octogenarian Carl Fredricksen (Asner) uses a bundle of balloons to fly his house to the jungles of Paradise Falls. His problems start when he discovers a stowaway, boy scout Russell (Nagai).

UP 3D is one of the more spectacular 3D home releases. Regarding the picture itself: Pixar almost never disappoints, and there's a clear reason why -- they make good movies in all senses. Storytelling, animation, attention to detail .. all these things are on-point in Pixar releases, and UP is no exception. The vivid colors and animation used is one of my favorites personally; they pop even moreso when viewing via 3D. The 3D provides a wide amount of depth while not leaving a gimmicky feeling of too many "pop out" uses. Amazing picture in stunning 3D format, one of the essential purchases for any Pixar and/or 3D fan!

Pixar has done it again with the 3D format, it contains a couple of pop outs but nothing gimmicky 3D that hits you in the face. Up is a submersible 3D experience that is smoothly laid out for the audience. Amazing

Charming, emotional, hilarious, just some of the words that can be used to describe Disney/Pixar's Up. The opening of the film is the saddest thing I've ever seen in anything, and that's coming from a family film. Pixar continue to produce the best.
