The eccentric Addams family are targeted by a couple of con artists using a lookalike claiming to be their long lost Uncle Fester so they can steal the family's vault full of treasures.

There’s really nothing wrong with The Addams Family . And there never has been. The use of animation gives the filmmakers a little flexibility and creativity, but in the end the film does what it set out to do – provide an entertaining, family-oriented movie that introduces the “gang” to a new generation of movie-goers. Universal’s Blu-ray looks and sounds great and the included supplements might be enough to warrant a purchase.

Having just run through all the older Addams Family movies, this was a nice recent addition for our 5 and 7 year olds. They both enjoyed it and mom and dad enjoyed it more than some of the other addams family movies. We think its safe for all ages. Yes its a tad bit violent but if your kids are exposed to even a modicum of violence in kids video games, its no more violent than that. Not a great movie, not a bad movie. Just an OK edition to the family movie night line up for a family with young kids that aren't overly sensitive to addams-family style violence.

I went and seen it in theatres and even with some loud people behind me kicking my seat the movie was boring enough that I was able to sleep 90% of the movie Graphics: 3/10 People behind me: 1/10 Sleep: 11/10 best sleep I've had in years Would recommend
