Both the new 4K scans and the 5.1 and 1.0 tracks are amazing and it comes with many extras and a booklet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

we all know the story, the heroes and villans. This review is focused on the video. the color is a nice improvement and where the shot is crisp, it is fantastic. but then it goes blurry and grainy and back to fantastic again. We have all heard the story, bad transfer, dupes, negative damage, etc etc. but one would think that some extra work would be done on the transfer for such an iconic film. The change from fantastic to gross goes on a lot. I'm not counting the intentional soft focus of many of the scenes. as much as I love this film, I'm glad I bought it, but I don't think enough effort was done to fix issues with the 2013 release. Yes the color looks good, but it could have looked better. it sounds great! the extras are great! the movie is great! the transfer is meh

I am really surprised by how many bad reviews this has! THIS IS A GREAT BLU-RAY! The picture is sharp, clear, and the colors are natural. There's no digital noise reduction to be seen. The audio is also really great for a film that came out it the 60's! There are bonus features, but not too many. Overall - If you're buying this blu-ray for the picture and audio quality, you won't be disappointed.

A visually stunning animation masterpiece that will take you on a magical colourful journey with mythical creatures, folklore and legends.The kind of fairy-tale I'd imagine Celtic grandmas would read as bed time stories to children on a cold winter's night in Ireland and for moments in that film I felt as if I was cast under it's spell.
