Nikon R1C1 flitser kit

A really excellent kit. Initially rather daunting as there are a lot of components but once you get started it is fine. Works really well as both an on camera and off camera macro flash thanks to the IR commander unit. Also, because of the rapid cycle time, is ideal for photo stacking. I haven't played with all the filters yet, but I will!

The manual came in German and Amazon flatly refused to take any action to resolve the issue. Causes concern about whether any Nikon products sold by Amazon are actually UK items which has implications for warranty. Will return abd buy from reputable photographic dealer.

I purchased the full system, which included the two flash guns and the camera mounted controller. In terms of spec it will about do every thing but make a cup of tea. The issue I have is the price, well over priced for what is a few extra bits of plastic parts, and not that good plastic at that. If it stand up to the rigors of outdoor use I will be surprised. In terms of picture quality, first impression are good. But I suspect the same results could be obtained using two stand alone third party Flashgun.

It's impossible to give a review when I haven't been able to use the product. Nikon always includes warranty info, and a users manual. Mine came with neither. Unable to obtain any help from B&H due to religious holiday ( Phone is answering with a recording, and E-mail has been blocked ). I am very disappointed with the lack of service. I'm wondering if this is a black market speed light.

If you like Macro Photography this is a must and also works at night on normal lens - comes with everything easy to use just remember you will need to buy the batteries
