Rugby World Cup 2011 biedt het officiële toernooi en enkele leuke spelmodi, maar mist veel diepgang. Slechts de helft van de teams is volledig gelicentieerd en de graphics zijn duidelijk verouderd. De gameplay is toegankelijk, maar lijkt sterk op Rugby 08 zonder echte vernieuwing. Voor rugbyfans is het een redelijke keuze, maar wie meer realisme of variatie zoekt, zal teleurgesteld zijn. De beperkte licenties en simpele presentatie zijn veelgenoemde minpunten.
