BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is een 2D-vechtspel met een sterke focus op unieke personages en diepgaande gameplay. Het spel valt op door zijn prachtige anime-stijl, creatieve karakterdesigns en een technisch vechtsysteem dat zowel toegankelijk als uitdagend is voor gevorderden. Beginners kunnen echter moeite hebben door de complexe mechanics en het beperkte aantal personages. De soundtrack en geluid zijn sterk, maar de Engelse stemmen zijn minder goed ontvangen. Al met al is dit een aanrader voor fans van het genre die op zoek zijn naar iets anders dan Street Fighter, maar minder geschikt voor casual spelers.

I've played the entire GG series on multiple platforms and this is hands down the worst GG game ever made. The intros and cut scenes are so terrible I could have made something better in Power Point... The game play is so terrible, the controls are terrible, the characters story lines are terrible, story mode is terrible, versus mode is terrible... Do not waste your money on this piece of crap. It's a shame I can't give it 0/5 stars, because it certainly earned that!

Fun to play and difficult to master. Very enjoyable for a side-scrolling fighter. I usually only play FPS or MMORPG's. Artwork is cool and the different characters are entertaining. 4 out of 5

the game was delivered fast and it really is a good game. It takes a while to get a multiplayer match but for a fighting game it is pretty good

I was so pleased to find this game at Amazon. It was on a Christmas list and I thought I would not be able to find it but Amazon came through for me.
