Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is een remake van het origineel met een nieuwe verhaalmode, verbeterde graphics en muziek. Het spel biedt drie moeilijkheidsgraden en is toegankelijker voor beginners, maar behoudt de klassieke dungeon-crawling en strategische gevechten. De presentatie is sterk, maar het verhaal en de personages zijn vrij generiek en de stemacteerwerk is beperkt. Er is slechts één save slot en weinig echte vernieuwing ten opzichte van eerdere delen. Voor fans van het genre is het een solide keuze, maar wie op zoek is naar een vernieuwende RPG kan beter verder kijken.

I don't think I gave this game a fair chance because I played the Fafnir Knight first. In comparison this game is lackluster but I enjoyed it for what it was. I personally prefer the Untold series against the main series because I like the stories and characters.

I love this so much! I played it non-stop all weekend. I like the story just as much as the one in EO Untold 2.

This is a fantastic game and the primary reason I got a Nintendo 3DS. It does require a lot of patience and especially on the harder difficulties, a lot of grinding. I can see why it is not a mainstream game, it requires a lot of patience and it is extremely hard to say the least. On the hardest difficulty, this is one of the most challenging games I have played in a while.
