Devil May Cry voor PS3 biedt snelle, stijlvolle actie en een sterk verhaal dat veel spelers aanspreekt. De variatie in bazen en vijanden zorgt voor afwisseling, en de soundtrack versterkt de sfeer. Vergil als extra speelbaar personage verhoogt de herspeelbaarheid. Wel zijn er duidelijke minpunten: veel cutscenes zijn slecht geremasterd, waardoor de HD-ervaring tegenvalt. Ook is er regelmatig backtracking en missen Devil Trigger vormen unieke moves. Vergil's missies zijn bovendien niet origineel en hergebruiken alle levels van Dante. Dit zijn belangrijke punten om te overwegen bij aankoop.

I really like this Devil May Cry game it’s really good. Sure I’m not a fan of this new Dante and yes the original Dante will always be the best but this Devil May Cry game is good. I can understand that some fans of Devil May Cry may not like and or hate the new Dante but if you give this game a chance you’ll see it really isn’t a horrible game like some people clam it to be. I’m glad I bought this game because I thought I had wasted my money but it turns out I didn’t and I’m glad. This game is very fun and the music in it isn’t bad my personal favorite is the club music. This Devil May Cry game gets 5 stars because the gameplay is good and addictive. I also give this game a solid 9/10. As a fan of Devil May Cry try this game you may not like the new Dante as much but the game it’self is worth it in my opinion.

So yes it gets compared to the first Devil Mar Cry series because it's a Devil May Cry game...so that's gonna happen. And rightly so. Pros: Combat great Weapons are diverse and upgradable Cons: A little platforming?!?! It's half the game when it used to have no place in DMC Cutscene - neverplayed DMC to watch a movie, just to kick demon ass - but these guys figured they had a blockbuster on their hands - fortunately you can skip them Game way to short - so once all the platforming and cutscenes are removed, you are left with a shell of a DMC game and little combat

If you loved the original versions this is a welcome upgrade to the graphics and game play which has been tweaked. Good value for money

This doesn't appear by the shrink wrapping to be a brand new product and more of a rewrap as a trade-in that amazon themselves offers. This is not a bad thing as this game is very old so I wasn't expecting a brand new game honestly. I just think it should be stated as such that it is a refurbished product. That being said this is a beautiful remaster of one of my favorite games series from the PS2 and I'm very fortunate to have picked up a copy. I would even purchased this if they released a Ps4 version. Devil may cry 4 just simply cant compare in terms of gameplay to me.
