Resident Evil 3 voor PS4 biedt een sterke sfeer, moderne graphics en veel actie, waardoor het een spannende horrorervaring is. De besturing is soepel en er zijn extra moeilijkheidsgraden voor wie meer uitdaging zoekt. Wel is de speelduur kort en missen sommige geliefde onderdelen uit het origineel, zoals de Clock Tower en keuzemomenten. Nemesis, de iconische vijand, is minder dreigend en verschijnt vooral in vaste gevechten. Dit maakt het spel minder diepgaand dan Resident Evil 2 Remake, maar het blijft een vermakelijke en herspeelbare survival horror voor fans.

i didn't think i'd enjoy re3r as much as i did--given the widely negative view of it. it's a super fun resident evil game and is very combat heavy, much like the original re3. nemesis totally scared me the first play-through, but subsequent play-throughs are very rewarding when you know how to dodge him. the resistance game bundled w/ it is also fun to play online with friends. great game!
