Okami HD op Xbox One wordt geprezen om zijn unieke, schilderachtige artstijl en creatieve Celestial Brush-mechaniek, die het oplossen van puzzels en gevechten fris houden. De campagne is lang en biedt veel extra content, terwijl het verhaal diepgaand en boeiend is. Wel wordt vaak genoemd dat de dialogen traag verlopen en niet altijd versneld kunnen worden, wat het tempo vertraagt. Ook kunnen de gevechten na verloop van tijd wat eentonig worden en is de camera soms lastig te bedienen. De game draait op 30fps en voegt weinig toe ten opzichte van eerdere HD-versies, maar blijft een aanrader voor liefhebbers van actie-avonturen en artistieke games.

I was really excited to see they remastered this game for Xbox One, since I never actually finished the PS2 version back in the day. I also got it at a really great price, and it's still as fantastic as I remembered. The game itself worked great despite being preowned, and I'm very happy with my purchase. It's nice to see old games being formatted for newer systems, especially some of the most memorable ones!
