Dead Island: Riptide biedt een bevredigende melee-ervaring en veel variatie in wapens en crafting, vooral leuk in co-op. De open wereld nodigt uit tot verkennen, maar het verhaal is zwak en de missies zijn vaak herhalend. Technische problemen en bugs komen regelmatig voor, en grafisch is er weinig vooruitgang ten opzichte van het origineel. Voor fans van zombie-actie en co-op is het een vermakelijke keuze, maar wie op zoek is naar vernieuwing of een sterk verhaal kan teleurgesteld raken.

I've had non-stop problems with glitches and bad game saves. It breaks the game and I'd avoid buying it.

Sadly I never played this at release, but it's still fun to play 12 years later, a bit strange to get used to if you have only played GTA 5, but it's easy to get used to the differences, a great game, with maybe some annoying missions here and there, but at the end of the day, you will still have fun with this game
