The Princess and the Frog isn't a bad game, but it's never an exciting one either. The platforming takes some thought and can get tricky, but ultimately it's always the same basic fetch quest, punctuated by really quick excuses for mini-games.

My 5-year-old is a huge fan of the movie but this game involves too much reading. She lost interest in it very quickly. It's probably better for older kids.

We love the game and my granddaughter is having a ball playing. It arrived just in time before Christmas day.

I bought this for my children for Christmas and they really seemed to enjoy it. They like the activity of "cooking gumbo" and played it for hours. Kids must be able to read to play this game without adult intervention.
