Schizm II: Chameleon /PC

Being a huge Myst fan I didn't get on with Schizm at all and to date I haven't completed it. Schizm 2 is much better though, the graphics are good, there's an interesting, solid story line running through, and for the first half at least the puzzles are just the right level - requiring some thought or trial and error, but not completely beyond solving. During the 2nd half of the game some of the puzzles became a tad too hard and I did have to resort to the guide (thinking "good grief, I wouldn't have got that" on a couple of occasions) My only real gripe though is that the game was too short - I'd have preferred it to be 2 or 3 times its length and was a bit disappointed the end came so quickly Still worth giving it a go though if you're a fan of the Myst series, it's the closest I've found to the Myst games in style, graphics, gameplay and puzzle difficulty, and don't be too put off if, like me, you started the original Schizm but found you didn't like it.

Interesting game. I found the puzzles hard, but they were possible with time and patience. If you don't have patience, then either the game is not for you, or you can use the book of answers supplied. It is overall a very good looking game, similar to some of the Myst games.
