Bulletstorm op de PlayStation 3 valt op door het unieke skillshot-systeem, waarmee spelers op creatieve manieren vijanden kunnen uitschakelen en hiervoor punten verdienen. De game biedt veel verschillende wapens en alternatieve vuurmogelijkheden, wat zorgt voor afwisselende actie. De besturing is soepel en de omgevingen zijn kleurrijk en aantrekkelijk vormgegeven. Wel zijn het verhaal en de personages weinig diepgaand en kan de humor als flauw of storend worden ervaren. Naarmate de campagne vordert, wordt het skillshot-systeem minder verrassend en voelt de gameplay wat herhalend aan. De multiplayer is beperkt tot coöperatieve modi en biedt weinig langdurige uitdaging. De singleplayer-campagne is bovendien aan de korte kant, waardoor sommige spelers meer inhoud kunnen missen. Over het algemeen is Bulletstorm een originele en vermakelijke shooter, vooral voor wie houdt van snelle actie en creatieve gevechten.

Some of the mechanics are fun but story, characters, setting, etc... is sub-par. It is a nice diversion but not much else.

mislayed my 360 version so i just wanted to see what the ps 3 copy was like,i think it is better then the 360 version and am very happy with it thank you.

really enjoyed playing this game. some of the chapters i found a little bit hard but as im'e a pensioner i am not as quick as younger people. still enjoyed it.
