FIFA Football voor handhelds wordt geprezen als de beste draagbare voetbalgame, met een console-achtige ervaring en vloeiende besturing. De game biedt veel spelmodi, maar mist populaire functies zoals Ultimate Team en Online Seasons. Touch-bediening werkt niet prettig en het verdedigingssysteem is verouderd ten opzichte van nieuwere FIFA-versies. Ook zijn spelersselecties niet up-to-date bij lancering. Voor wie FIFA onderweg wil spelen, is dit een sterke keuze, maar verwacht niet alle moderne functies van de consoleversies.

I love the career mode, I think it is fantastic. The graphics are unbelievable for a handheld console. The game-play, background music, and challenges posed related to your difficulty is superb. My only two criticisms are that there is a huge difference between Professional difficulty and World Class. I thus lost 9-0 to Manchester City when I was Blackburn Rovers on World Class. However, I can easily beat them 3-1 on Professional. Lastly, and this really bothers me when playing my games in career mode because I happen to lose a few because of it and it affects my title push. When I am in possession of the ball, the computer (not computer opponent) will sometimes hit the ball when I have not pressed any buttons and thus my team loses possession of the ball. I'd like to know if this has happened to anybody else when playing this game?

This is a very good game, its just like the FIFA games on the PS3! This is why I have given it 5 stars. BUT The console is just rubbish and slow at everything social like loading messenger takes nearly a minute. Probable the same amount of time it has taken you to read this! BUT This is Sony's first shot at something that wanted to compete with the Home Consoles, but it hasn't worked. Sorry Sony but it isn't that great!! P.S FIFA 13 IS COMING OUT ON PS VITA, if any body wanted to know. The console will still be rubbish!
