My two boys - both fans of GI Joe - really like this game. They are 4 and 6 years old. It was easy for them to learn the controls. It's not really violent. The 2-player co-op is awesome. Reminds me a lot of the Spiderman: Friend or Foe game. Great action.

As far as I can tell, it's a shoot-'em adventure game. No gore or graphic violence. I think the teen rating is overkill. It's their favorite wii or ds game to date. We did NOT see the movie as it did look too graphic.

This game is garbage. My seven year old son liked it for about two days. Boring, repetitive, bad graphics, unimaginative, terrible. Plays like a Ben Ten game but with no storyline, no good characters, no mission.

Yeah, not the best, but it's certainly fun to spend time playing. Especially if you grew up playing with the Joes! hehe
