I have a lot of fun playing this game which features 8/16-bit era gameplay with somewhat modern graphics. But the graphics are pretty bad, the gameplay is super-simple and at times the game is unforgivably broken. For example, when I was supposed to hit "x" to buy Heavy-Duty, nothing would happen. I tried every button but nothing worked until I mashed the controller in total beast-mode for 30 seconds and somehow I unlocked him and was able to continue the game. In another level I needed to change characters to progress, but the in-game mechanics to change characters did not work.

If only this game were half as exciting as the movie. The graphic content is mediocre and the play through is kind of boring,

Grew up w g.i.joe so for me I'm already biased, haven't played it much but for $20 I'm not complaining. I bought it bC it's gonna be something to play when I got some free time so the awkward gun action is that I've been warned about is something I'll just have to deal with. Otherwise, so far, I'm happy with it

Im enjoying it. kind of old school arcade vibe. lots of characters to unlock. people complain about the graphics. I have a feeling it was made for the ps2 and up resed to the ps3.. dont go in expecting it to set new standards and you will have fun with it,
