Celeste was a very original title. My issue was that it was over hyped. I’m not sure what I was expecting when I played the game although I had a lot of fun and the gameplay was unique.

This game was hands down one of (if not THE) best 2-D Platformers I’ve ever played: The story telling and message behind the game is phenomenal for today’s modern culture of “Self-Love” but not taking it to a Toxic extreme! The level design is among the best I’ve played in a game as it 1: Is super creative/imaginative; and 2: Challenges the player that makes them have a roller-coaster of emotions yet makes the player feel heavily rewarded after they finally achieve the accomplishment! The re-playability is very much there as it challenges the player to go through the levels 3 times in order to get the TRUE 100% ending, which is hands down WORTH IT, as the true ending is one of the challenging, yet most rewarding final bonuses I’ve ever experienced in my 17 years of playing video games.
